| A: | This recall involves 2 gallon, 120-volt, air compressors, operating pressure maximum of 100 PSI and air delivery of .4 SCFM at 90 psi, offered in one unique configuration whereby two 1-gallon tanks are stacked upon each other. The units sold under the HDX™ and Powermate® brand names. |

| A: | About 100,000 in the United States and 7,000 in Canada |

| A: | MAT Industries has received no reports of any injuries as a result of this issue. |

| A: | The Powermate 2 gallon air compressors were sold in the U.S. and Canada directly through a variety of retailers. The HDX 2 gallon air compressor was sold exclusively by Home Depot. |
